October 2009 – Subhumans

Subhumans are an English punk band formed in the Trowbridge and Melksham area of Wiltshire in 1980. Member, Dick Lucas – piano/vocals, joined later in the year; having formerly been in another local band, The Mental. Other members; Bruce Treasure – guitars, b.v./drums, Trotsky – drums, Phil – bass; had been in The Stupid Humans. The band’s musical style is typically classified as hardcore punk or anarcho-punk. August/September 2009 – No Artist

July 2009 – Melody Club

May/June 2009 – Scott Kroeker

Wouldn’t it be great to escape and let your mind drift into a peaceful break. Canadian instrumentalist guitarist, Scott Kroeker ‘s, music can take your mind into that relax-full journey with his 2006 album, ‘Fata Morgana’.

April 2009 – April Divine

Created in 1998 as Starf*ck in Örnskoldsvik, Sweden, four friends being to start something that would continue to build throughout the years. Blending a diversity of grunge, metal, punk and pop with funk, the band soon became the buzz of their home country. March 2009 – Moebio

A few weeks ago a Rock band from Madrid, Moebio, requested a listen to their music. To say the least, I was mesmerized by their intense sound, power-hitting to the deepest of the soul guitars and smooth, straight-forward idealistic vocals from the lead, Hector Geronimo. My head simultaneously started swaying instantly the music began. Basically, Moebio’s music you can feel and see every lyric. February 2009 – Varekai

Some may say this band has missed the alternative mission but a lot of them will say they are right on time. Music is music whatever fills the heart with a refreshing sense, play it anyway and play it on the high side. January 2009 – Tribal Machine

December 2008 – Russell Stafford

Hailing from Portland Oregon, this acoustic/singer/songwriter has a powerful groove going on, his music will rock you out of your head. Stafford released his much awaited follow-up album to Freshwater, Between You & I.
